I just finished chatting with a PS3 rep and this is what he told me.

"David M: I do apologize however, after further research I found that the code is for a region that is not compatible with the region on your account. We will need to refer you to the publisher of this particular game, Square Enix, for further information and to process a new beta code. I wouldn't be able to redeem the code until early access starts.

Is that true? It sounds wrong....

I did the chat help with Square earlier today and they gave me a new key for the PS3 that actually worked for my region (NA). I suggest hitting them up first thing in the morning when they open up and seeing if they can help you too. They were very nice but very swamped.

If you don't get through just keep trying if you can. I waited almost 2 hours and got to first in line then got removed because there was no one to answer. The second time around I made it in and it went rather quick and painless. Just be patient and kind and hopefully they will be so in return. ^^

Early access hasn't started, but I was able to redeem my code fine.. None of that no subscription BS.. You'll have to have SE look into it.. may not get fixed by early release though...

I chatted with another rep... This time I was told that I got the code for the wrong region.

This is the most complicated game to try to play... Sigh...

So now after failing to redeem a code so many times, I now have to deal with error 80023156. That's on top of my pre-order code not working.

Today is friday... and it's not just a regular friday. It's the 2 of the 4 fridays that I hate every month. I have my chemotherapy today and I will be very sick this whole weekend. The only silver lining I have or now had is that I get to play ffix. It'll distract me from dealing with my severe nausea. It helped me alot during those phase3 weekends.

But these past weekends are not really all that fun for me cause I seem to be one of unlucky ones that have to deal with so much errors on top of each other. I got gang banged with errors!!! This is getting ridiculous!!!!!!!! I can't even go on a tirade of profanity cause I might get banned and that'll just be the end of it. I guess i'll be popping ativan this whole weekend to calm me down from the bs.

try again. it was busy a few times and now its ringing. they probably were on lunch. the area code is 310 so the office might be on los angeles. if this dont get resolved, i'll bust through there office and demand for my pre-order code.
