[Request] Road Map for FFXIV

I think they have been doing a good job so far and the previous developer letters were really good. A major improvement to how quiet SE used to be.

It's just a bit frustrating at how quiet things have been this week. I know there are some amazing things coming to the game, I guess we just need to be patient, even if our patience is wearing thin or gone already. xD

I know I for one am very anxious to finally get some info on the battle and job changes. I've done practically every side-quest now and enjoyed them a lot. However now the only thing left to do is grind. But knowing that the entire battle system and job system are getting redone, I get a bit scared. I don't want to level too much now and then find myself with a totally different job or something. That's why I am only levelling my Conjurer at the moment and not touching my other jobs. But if I hit rank 50 on my Conjurer and we still have no updates or info.... >.>"

if Portal 2 doesn't have more then a 6 hour campaign for both single and co-op it wont be much of a blimp in the radar of mmorpgs.

ya i won part 1 in 2hours or less of game play i got it when they give everyone a free copy lol.

Don't forget Portal was an experiment and Valve didn't know how players would react to it. That's the reason it was bundled with the Orange Box before it had it's own individual release.

Here's what I think of this thread. You are not getting something if you're asking for a roadmap.

They have a roadmap but they are not disclosing it. That's because they have lost trust. When you treat someone wrong, what good is it to make a bunch of promises? Even if you have a change of heart, sometimes that person just needs a break from you before the relationship can mend. So if the silence hurts, leave and take a break.

Yoshi-P wants to win back your trust, but he will only do it by showing you a game, not by telling you about it. That's why he is not announcing what's in a patch unless it's a sure thing like the battle effects resize. He knows how to treat people. If you think about it like that it will make sense.

ya it was a awesome game i enjoy it i wish it was longer let's see if portal 2 would be longer

It will be the first game on the PS3 to allow it and the first game of the current Gen to allow it.

Sorry to takes things off topic slightly but just a little fyi...

Blazblue on the PC lets you play with xbox 360 players over Games for Windows Live (not that many do considering most people who care about BB on the 360 would have moved on to the second game...) So Portal 2 won't be the first of this current gen to do this but it will be the first game on the PS3 to do this.
