[Dev 1011] Failing Guildleves Intentionally?

the sole purpose of leve quests is to give people that only have 30 minutes of play time something to do that nets a high reward. So really the sole purpose of leves is SP. And there is nothing fun about any of the leves they are all the same kill this, defend this, or collect this.

you mean like every other rpg known to man!!! heaven forbid.... I didn't do fov for the exp. I just like doing them. It gave me something to do. I didn't do any ffxi quest (minus the importent one) fior the reward i did the quest as something to do. levequests are the same thing, just something to do.

yeah i find it funny people bring that up alot, yet it really is in every other MMO, its not something that can be changed

its in every rpg let alone mmo. since zelda i think. or what ever the first rpg was with questing in it. I know zelda 1 had questing in a sense.

honestly of all the rpg i played one of my fav quests would be from oblivion sherogoraths shrine quest. He sent you to a khajit settlement you had to collect the smelly cheese back it in a pot and rats would invade the town. then you took the rat poisoning to kill off the sheep. Then you stood in the middle of the town and see flaming dogs rain on the town. lol. watching the npc's freak out was epic. It was their superstition kinda like the plagues of egypt.

No need to dictate how others play with your posting btw. Currently leves are the only reasonable way to rank up and a majority of them blow for that, I mean why else would leve reward balancing be an issue that devs are looking at. And you want to take the only reasonable way to rank up away from people... please enlighten us as to why? what is leave failing hurting? it has no negative effect on anyone.
