Are early access codes tied to the account once redeemed?

Earlier today, I redeemed my early access code on my computer for the PC version, and successfully received the separate 20-digit code. No problems there.

Later, I got onto the same computer to renew my wife's early access code. When I got to the site, from a google search and not an already opened window, I didn't realize that I was already automatically logged in to my account, presumably with cookies. I entered the code, thinking it would ask for the user's information afterwords. It was only after it didn't ask for my information that I saw that tiny text at the top of the screen, saying "Welcome, Xellan". ><

I now have her PS3 early access code, including the in-game items, as well as my code sent to my email address.

What I'm wondering is if those codes are now both connected to my account, or if she will be able to use that early access code. Furthermore, if I can't, then why would this website allow for you to renew multiple access codes?

Well easiest thing to do would be to just try it on her account, but it sounds like they're both on yours so she won't be able to and you'll need to contact SE

Did you redeem the 20 digit codes or the 18 digit codes? The 18 digit codes by themselves are meaningless.

I redeemed the 18 digit codes; hers from Gamestop, mine from Amazon. I then got the 20 digit code for my PC, and the 12 digit code for her PS3 version, both to the same email address.

That was my take-away, but I'd love to see some substantiation, just to have greater peace of mind.

The only purpose of the 18 digit codes is to add your game to their stupid social site and grant you a 20 digit early access code. The only code of import is the 20 digit code (or whatever code PS3 people get) and that is the one you have to redeem for early access. The 20 digit code gets tied to your SE account on use.

Are you from the EU? If you have any problems with linking the code to your wife's account because they're connected to your account, and you have no luck with SE send me a PM, I might be able to help
