

The problem is we don't know and the issue is not enough people run linkshells to know what kind of an issue it truly is. Being able to remove inactive members without them having to be online is a huge thing and SE really does need to address this.There's nothing wrong with the devs priorities, they may be working on this right now for all we know.
Honestly this is something that does need to be addressed but I think that completely changing a lot of the core systems of a game is a bit higher on the priority list. Size of spells was likely just one thing they already finished.
Being able to remove members is really the biggest one. My shell has had to reform multiple times now simply because we can't remove the inactive members who are too lazy to drop their pearl before they quit or "are coming back when it's fixed". I'm just not sure who designed the current system and legitimately thought it was a good idea. No game's guild system works as poorly as this one does.
