You have to admit, that was spot on.So what you are saying to us in short is I am now just rank 3 I have not played the game in forever if even at all, you barely login but maybe 1-2x a month and expect to be in a good LS. Here is an idea for you actually run a LS on a daily basis keep track of the trends as to when people have logged in and then give an opinion. Many of us expressing our displeasure on the current situation or lack thereof actually do have spreadsheets and data to backup our displeasure for the ability to have to remake and not just be able to kick those who no longer login.
2700 posts and you still have no clue about anything in this game, your "Disclaimer" at the bottom of your signature proves this. You have not experienced most of the game, you do not have every class leveled above 30, have not selected a job and actually created it. You have not actually fought any of the "End Game" NM, so you really know nothing about how this game works or runs.
If you have an opinion fine whatever, but calling LS leaders pathetic because we want to properly manage our linkshells is absurd.
Edit: I love how her signature is so hypocritical.

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP.
I really do hope the dev team will raise this issue because these options are fundamental for all linkshell administrators. (should have been already implemented quite a while ago)
As a linkshell creator/leader it saddens me to see 30+ ls members that are fundamentally ghosts just taking up space..
Please SE have plans for this after the battle system has been updated!
(and please consider adding a mail system to enhance communications ect since this IS an mmo!) ((thank you))
This topic needs the loving attention of our resident good news bear Bayohne!

can't let this fall off the front page just yet. :P
Pathetic for what? Wanting something that is essential to running an organization? Please.
Bullshit. Chances are they need to remove a few lines of code rather than actually write anything. They told you what was up. Deal with it. There is alot more coding involed then you might think.
Red-herring.And also ffxi never had a remove offline member option. Only a kick from anywhere option that was abused very quickly.
Abuse? Even after being kicked out of a dozen linkshells for being controversial within the matter of hours, I at least knew it was their right to do so.
Red-herring. Maybe you should try being a Linkshell Leader for once, I don't think you'd last two minutes.I'm kinda happy removing members is a bit hard. Means you need to work harder on making sure the members you add are good.
I've seen nothing from anyone in any thread that suggests they've not waited a while; furthermore, this is another absolute red-herring.You guys are letting people bug ya. Honestly how long do you wait before a huge list of people are "inactive" a week a mnth? Preferable id wait 2 mnths and 30 inactive people before letting ppl know of a LS remake.
Here is an idea: quit making up excuses and red-herrings.Here is an idea for members make a temp trial LS and a main LS. When you meet new ppl put them in the temp LS that has a few member from the main, so you get a feeling for people.
The reality is leading any type of organization requires having certain features, or to be exact, abilities, whether it's in the real world or a video game, that include being able to remove from organization any such people that do not fit with the association.
Well said Dragon Well said, O yeah Bumping to keep on main page... Devs a response would be nice BTW
Bumping till we get some sort of an answer as to why this is not in the game; would love to hear the answer.

We sort of have answers from the Community Reps but they just reiterate the issue or skirt around it. Not to say it's a fault of their own, but there is a strict process they have to go through in order to get information to us. The pressure I think is on the dev team, specifically the UI team.
I would like to hear from the UI lead member why this wasn't addressed months ago, and what actually made this particular subject so hard to tackle.
Funny thing is this shouldn't be hard to accomplish, All teh team should have to do is remove the restrictions as most of what we are asking for is in game but you just have to be standing next to the person. Remove that restriction boom problem solved. We sort of have answers from the Community Reps but they just reiterate the issue or skirt around it. That's the thing, it does seem quite easy from our point of view, so it's really not understandable why it wasn't fixed long ago. If the devs would state whats the problem is, then maybe I'd understand. Otherwise it just looks like they are labeling it as unimportant - which it isn't.
