Materia melding stat caps on iLevel 70 armor.

i melded 3 same IV on some gatherer tool without beeing capped (or a crafting tool , dont remember...). i will post SS tomorrow

I ran across a player wearing full weaver AF in phase 4 with triple melded craftsmanship materia all through.

Where did they obtain this or the recipe for it? I looked for it, but could not find it anywhere.

all recipes are in crafting log as long as you are near that level.

Was 5 materia the max you could put on heavy darksteel chest and legs, or could you go further?

I remember when yoshida was describing forbidden melding, you could forbidden meld onto the slot itself. Tho I didn't witness being able to select the slot to forbidden meld to myself. The way he described it tho, you would be able to get a buttload of materia onto one piece.

I thought you could put stats (i.e. Parry on the Heavy Body) on Darksteel to equal Darklight. Did you get to confirm that in P4?

Yes, 5 materia is still the maximum.

In P3 HQ items had their native stats already at cap and it was easy to tell what caps where but the new system is confusing me to hell lol.
