Clear up all confusion with 1.0 non legacy (also CE owners of 1.0)

Ok. I was frustrated all day trying to figure out the early access options. As i was looking it seemed I would not have early access, but what concerned about most is not getting in for the 27th release. All these sites were saying the same thing if you are not legacy 1.0 than you don't get in. If you own the original game you will have access to the release of the game, if you own the CE of the original game you get all the bonuses (besides early access and physical items) of the CE of now. So don't panic and go buy the game again, if you are not worried about early access.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm a 1.0 CE player but not legacy and I was under the impression we got all the same rights as a new CE purchases including early access. I am in line to talk to a customer support person from SE so i'll post what they say to clear it up for everyone.

As long as you pre-order, the PS3 version can be linked to your pre-existing FFXIV account to play early on the PC version.

This will also allow you to play on either the PS3 or PC with the same service account. However, you won't be able to log in with both at the same time. As long as this isn't a problem, you should be fine purchasing the PS3 version.
