If Primals are only the manifestation of their follower's belief then why do they seem have dealing with the Paragons themselves before they were even summoned into the world in corporeal form? It seems the Paragons have methods of communicating with the Primals while they're still part of the planet's aether and that would imply that Primals' consciousness are still active in that state and they might be much more than physical manifestation of the element shaped by belief. I find the whole matter intriguing and I'd definite love to see how this relates to the Twelves.

Yoshida specifically said that King Moggle Mog is not a Primal in Letter from Producer VII. While he is summoned the same way as the Primals are, he is apparently not one of them. I have no idea what the difference is though.
