Do I still need to purchase early access?

I am a 1.0 player but I do not have a legacy account. When I log into the client it says I do not have early access and I would really like to be ready for the 24th. Does this mean I have to spend another 30 bucks to get early access?

If you do not possess a 1.0 Collector's Edition or Legacy Account, you will need to pre-order the game again in order to get early access.. but why would you want to waste 30 bucks to get a 2 day head start if your a 1.0 player....

I'm getting mixed responses as to what 1.0 non legacy Collectors edition players get. I am a CE player non legacy and I get an error saying
"No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Proper registration through the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station is required.

* Users participating in early access must also complete registration by August 30, 2013. Using the code enclosed with your package, please complete registration through the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station. "

Now I'm still trying to figure out if there is something i need to do for early access or do 1.0 CE players not get it.
