my 12 digit code doesn't work either...did SE announce that they're even aware of the problem?
When I chatted with tech support via web chat they informed me that they are aware of the situation of wrong region codes being issued out and thaty they have no replacement PSN codes to issue out. The last time I chatted with them was yesterday. If I don't see a resolution today, I'll be hitting them up again and see if they have any replacement codes to issue out. The answer is again no, I'll try again tomorrow.
What is there to say? I am me, and no one can change that.

the guy at eb games gave me two codes when i bought the CE game. been waiting untill the last min to use my other code and it worked thoe it made me download the client again 6451mb. i almost bought the game again from psn because i dont belive there going to get this sorted before EAbut good luck to the rest of you
I got a new email today with the same code and still didn't work. Still says wrong code or it is no longer valid so I'm gonna cancel my order with SE Store and pre-order though GameStop.
Having the exact same issue with a gamestop pre-order here. The only ps3 users I've seen have no problem is those that downloaded from the psn store. If they haven't at least released some statement by tonight that they can have it fixed, I'll be returning to gamestop in the morning for a refund on my 2 pre-purchased copies and purchasing through the psn store. Really sad that we have to go through all this.
I will keep that in mind before I pre-order though GameStop and will wait till tomorrow to see if things are resolved, and in which case I will buy from PSN. I'm having a similar problem (EU account). My current account worked just fine but when I try to enter the code given for a second account (12 digit) it continues to give me an error despite never using it before. So now I'm stuck in limbo (both codes were given from the same place, so no idea what's going on here).
Same thing happened to me. Apparently the website is giving out PSN codes that are from the wrong region in some cases, which is why you can't redeem it. Luckily Amazon had sent me two preorder codes, so I got a different PSN code on the second preorder code, and that one worked. I think the only thing to do at this point is try preordering from someplace else to get a new code. Or buy the digital version on the PSN which no one seems to be having any trouble with.
