Early Access For Legacy Players

I have a question, if someone can clarify because i am confused. Ok more than one question.
1) Is the Early Access code the same as the game registration code that we will get with the box on the 27th?

Background for second question: I had the V 1.0 PC CE (non-legacy, as i didn't pay for 3 months straight). I pre-ordered the PS3 version in hopes that my brother can tie that one to his account later but use the early access code for my account and I use my original registration code from PC 1.0 for my account at launch. I entered my Early access code for the PS3 version on my account.

2) Does that mean that the PS3 hard copy will now be registered to my account as well or when i get the hard copy on the 27th, i can register the game under his account?

As you can see i am confused, and i think i might have confused people reading this, but any help or clarification would be much appreciated, as they said there is still time to fix it.

Ok so I don't need a pre-order code for the PS3 to play the early access on it? Or I need a code if i want to play on PS3?

If your originaly of the PC version but have a PS3 you want to play on, you can still preorder and SE will send you a code. You go to <preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com> and they'll give you instructions of you have the promo-code from w/e you paid for it,etc. Gamestop. It's working as intended today!

Redeem your preorder code through SE first, then they'll give you a code to take to the PlayStation Store.
This is so I can download FFXIV:ARR for free before release. It makes sense if you have the right timing though!

I followed the instructions to go to the Playstation Network to enter the 12 digit code SE gave... but they're down for maintanence from 12pm to 6pm PST.

just to clarify. I'm a legacy player so I have early access for pc. if I were to drive to game stop right now and pre-order the ps3 version, I could put the code I get from the receipt into the play station store, and download/play early access on ps3?

YES. However, there's currently maintenance being performed on the PS3's SEN...it should be done by 9:30PM EST. I'm guessing you want the pre-order bonuses added to your existing Legacy PC account by linking your PS3's SEN account to your existing SE account? I did the same thing so I could get all the available items on my Legacy account.

Close, you would need to put the code you have on your GameStop receipt into the pre-order entry page and select to redeem it for the PS3 in order to get the 12 digit PS3 code you'd enter for the PS3 client and early access.

(First code needs to be exchanged online on the registration page for the code you'd enter on your PS3)

1. 1.0 n legacy players who want play on ps3 need to have a ps3 preorder code to link to their account.
2. Phase 4 client is same as retail client n early access so no need re download, just login n it auto patch.
3. Preorder code is separate from retail code. Retail code come with ur box or digital purchase when it launch.
