Linking PS3 CE PRe order to 1.0 account? Linking accounts?

Ok I am very very confused. Everyone seems to have flown through the step of linkng their accounts but I have no idea.

1. I have a 1.0 CE account for PC
2. I pre ordered PC3 CE
3. I input the code into the pre order site logging in with my Square enix account, choosing PS3 (not my FFXIV account as i was not asked for my one time password my SE account, both have the same login details)
4. I received my 4-4-4 code that ets me download FFXIv ARR to my PS3...

So where the hell do i get the option to link this to my old 1.0 account? I have never seen anywhere in this process the ability to use an old account or anywhere on the SE account site to link to my FFXIV 1.0 account.

yeah i bought the ps3 copy just for EA and want to play on the PC why can i NOT DO THAT

So what, you can no longer play the same account on PS3 and PC? I don't remember seeing that anywhere.

During Beta 3 I played on my PS3, the first time I launched the client it requested I link my PSN and SE accounts for the purpose of playing XIV.

So, if you are worried, try launching the client on your PS3 and see if it prompts you to do this. If it does not, you could try contacting costumer support, or hope that it's part of the login servers that aren't working yet because the game isn't live.

Calastir: can you quote that? The only thing I know is that, if you have a PS3 and a PC code for one single account, you cannot play on PS3 and PC at the same time, because you can only login with one system at a time to any single account. It does not preclude you from playing on PC today and then PS3 tomorrow, as long as you have the game codes for the systems registered to the account.
