BS is an autocrit from the rear if you're in opo-opo stance, yes.
As for a solid PB opener:
Demo > BfB > Snap > IR > Snap > Steel > DK > Howl > Snap > DK > Twin > ToD > Demo > Boot* > True > Snap > DK > Twin > Snap > etc...
*Alternatively, one can replace this Boot with a DK, and make it so DK never drops. Should the DK here crit, it would be no different from a Bootshine anyway. On the other hand, if it does not crit, the DPS loss from it is theoretically greater than the DPS loss from having blunt resist down for 2 skills.

Minor thing that should be done different:
Bootshine instead of Dragon Kick after PB because there's no Opo-opo bonus. Since there's no bonus, Bootshine is simply the same or better because there's no positional for the same damage, as well as less animation time so a moving enemy won't cut off Bootshine but may cut off Dragon Kick.

That's fine. Doesn't matter either way as you said. I just use DK there since I'm going to use Twin right after it and used Snap right before it so it just fits (also the way my cross hotbar is setup).Minor thing that should be done different:

Worth mentioning though that animation time doesn't matter for positionals or getting cut off. The success of an attack landing and its position, etc are determined almost immediately after the skill is fired off, so the animation makes no difference.
I've seen myself punching and kicking air like a madman wildly as part of Demolish after hitting the skill on a target I'm near after I start running away from it.

Im not actually relating to the PB opener but rather when you already have GL3 up and you pop PB to use a move. Usually SNAP or BS. Which is more rewarding while taking into consideration that you have IR and BfB available.
Reading some other post, some people suggested going BS as it crits 100% of the time as long your on the rear of the mob, making sure to hit snap once the GL3 stacks are dying while keeping TS up to ensure that 10% damage buff are up as well.
So the other day while doing coil. I pop-ed PB while already in GL3. Without BfB, Bootstrike hits about 520 while with BfB it hits about 530-540 range. It seems not beneficial using BfB here as to me it seems as if the crit damage is "capped" as compared to using SNAP + IR + BFB which could sometimes go as high as 700+ and hits about the same as BS without BfB.
So my question is, do we usually use SP as a damage dealing move when already in GL3 and PB is popped to use the non form bonus or is Bootstrike the better option.

Overall I'd suggest against using PB for anything other than GL3 recovery, unless you're absolutely certain you won't lose it for whatever content you're doing.Im not actually relating to the PB opener but rather when you already have GL3 up and you pop PB to use a move. Also, on MNK BfB is only a 10% increase in damage. That said, even then what you're suggesting seems off. Idk... I've seen my Bootshines get the expected increase in damage from BfB.
I completely agree with Noctis on the use of PB. Sure it might net you a small DPS increase, but if you drop GL3 during the fight and don't have PB available to recover you stand to lose far more.Overall I'd suggest against using PB for anything other than GL3 recovery, unless you're absolutely certain you won't lose it for whatever content you're doing.

Also on the note of BfB on Bootshine, I definitely track a damage increase when it's up on on that move. For example on a dummy I had Bootshine doing ~525 damage average without BfB up and around ~585 average with it up (600 highs).

Thank you Noc and Ricdeau on your inputs. I would probably keep the PB stacks for when GL3 drops due to mechanics but what if the phase allows you to use PB stacks to deal extra damage considering all your dots are up or its still a no no ?I completely agree with Noctis on the use of PB. T1 and T2 it should be highly unlikely that you would drop GL. So those two fights are generally safe. I don't have an issue on T4 typically, but there's always the odd occurrence on that one where something unexpected happens. Honestly speaking out of all my testing the DPS increase from PB isn't much if you are maintaining yourself as close as to maximum efficiency as you can. Which is why I generally don't feel the need to use it mid combat, and sometimes I get in such a groove that if I pop it I'll mess up, haha.

Hahaha, yes i can relate to that. Midway through fight, weaving all your combos and looking cool and all that when suddenly you pop something and your combos became retarded. But then no one gonna notice. Even when you screwed up, the monk still looks flashy ^^T1 and T2 it should be highly unlikely that you would drop GL. So those two fights are generally safe.
