You want people to carry you and to hold your hand. You have some strange sort of entitlement complex.

I know how to play my class, but maybe there are things I am missing.
You did less DPS than the WAR. You don't know how to play your class.

So why dont you offer advice
Am I obligated to be your personal trainer?

Read this 136 page thread, get a parser, parse yourself, practice. Hell, maybe they were completely bullshitting you, but you wouldn't know without a stick to measure by, would you?

Don't tell me you didn't think of this yourself ... ?

Titan is not a DPS race except for heart phase and obviously I was not slowing down the group as we cleared it both times.
Titan EX doesn't even begin until after the heart phase. The heart phase is a minor dps check. Adds are another check, and gaols are a check throughout, and superbomb is a minor check. The entire fight as a whole is a DPS check, because there is an actual enrage and general instability post-heart will cause players to die which immediately makes the enrage relevant, especially when one player is basically underperforming by a huge amount.

I know my numbers that roll up on the screen and I know the effects that having to stack rear does to my DPS.
If you're stacking rear 100% of the time, you're doing it wrong.

I also know I lose 47% of my DPS when I get gaoled while the Warrior (who never gets gaoled) can keep on DPSing at full potential.
Is this your excuse? I would have to almost afk to do as little DPS as a tank who is in tanking gear and has to spend half the fight tanking (therefore threatcapping themselves with actual threat attacks, making it even harder for them to DPS when not MT).

Sidenote: 47% is a pretty good estimate, even if that loss only lasts for 6 seconds. Running at a ballpark -25% over 20 seconds every, what, two minutes (random guess) is a 4.2% total DPS loss. Even if you fail to maintain GL every jump, your total DPS loss is only going to be like 5-15%.

You should be doing more than 15% more DPS than the tank.

Really, I insist.

I also have to be lucky that when he jumps that I am at the perfect spot in my rotation otherwise again I may have to start all over dealing 47% less damage.
Practice more.
