I've seen the discussions, arguments, and the latter. Anyways...

I'm a level 31 MNK, obviously have LNC that I stopped at 15 just so I could become a MNK.
I've been experimenting with what I have now but obviously I've still got more Skills to obtain and learn as well as put into rotation or replace former skills.

What would be a recommended rotation for someone my level? I don't care for the difficulty of it whether it be easy or hard I just would like to learn to become more useful and so that I have something to go by that I can practice on by myself.
Bootshine-Twin Snakes-Demolish/Snap Punch is your basic combo till 50.

Try to keep your dots up on bosses. That's Demolish, Touch of Death and Fracture. It's always good for those dots to be buffed by Internal Release (and Blood for Blood when you decide to level that LNC more).
Buffed dots cannot be clipped (which means reapplying the dot before it ends) by unbuffed dots. Which means to just wait for the dots to fall off before reapplying.

Always try to get your position bonuses. They make a significant damage difference.
True Strike is not worth using until you're 50 and you have a high skill speed. You can just forget about it for now, though including it for practice would not make a huge dps loss either. Its position bonus is not that important.

You'll get Steel Peak soon, don't be afraid to use it. It's off the GCD, which means you can use it while waiting for other abilities to be available.
It's good for extra damage, and it's also good to stop mobs from doing aoe.

REALLY don't be afraid to use Internal Release. Its 1min cooldown is very little. There's little need to save it.

Rockbreaker is a good aoe. Arm of the Destroyer isn't. The latter is hardly every worth the dps, especially considering its TP cost.
It has a silence effect, so you can utilize that at your own discretion.

Shoulder Tackle has stun on impact (good for mobs that start with an aoe). It's mostly used for mobility.

That's about it. Also, when you get Mantra you should get in the habit of learning to use it to help the healer. It's not much though (5%) until you get the trait that increases it to 20%.
Still good to get in the habit.

Hope that's helpful.
