Hmm, guess might as well use it at 30. I mean why wait to open my present lol.
And fellow Behemoth, hiyoooo
For those of you who have a rear, and flanking move in your rotation - are you switching between the rear and flank, or are you just standing where the most of your moves will land best?
I've been trying to switch between rear and flank but it can be a bit difficult in some fights, especially when enmity isn't solid.
The best thing is obviously switch all the time between rear and flank and i always do that. If for some reason i can't, i just use those skills which are better for the side where i am.

I just try my best to hit the rear and flank as needed. More fun that way.For those of you who have a rear, and flanking move in your rotation - are you switching between the rear and flank, or are you just standing where the most of your moves will land best?

quick question, is it possible to weave/animation cancel the PUG/MONK auto-attack?
I'm used to play assasins clases were I used to weave an AA between my skills to maximize dps....but I can't seem to do it here, my auto-attack goes off way to long after using any skill.
So, can you weave as a monk? and is it worth it? or just spam your combos after every global cooldwon?

No need to weave. AA will happen on its own timer independent of all other skills so long as you are engaged, in range and facing the target.quick question, is it possible to weave/animation cancel the PUG/MONK auto-attack?

Nearing level 30 Pugilist and I will be swapping to Monk. Already have Lancer at 15 so I'm all ready on that front, but I'm curious...
Are there any skills that are optimal to be included in to the Monk rotation from other classes that I need to prioritize getting eventually? I hated leveling Lancer to 15 so I hope not, haha.

Although I feel the same as you I was dreading leveling other classes (besides Disciples of the Land and Hand) but I've started Marauder for some cross class skills and it hasn't been much of a chore so far![]()

I have another question actually for anyone who's gotten to end game as mnk. With the cross over skills that up our def and healing we receive has anyone tried to build a dodge tank monk?
They aren't intended to be used to "tank", there is no way to "Itemize" for "dodge" as a MNK. If your going to cross class any of the defensive cooldowns, pop them to take the brunt of an AOE or something, or for if you pull aggro and need a higher % to survive. Hardmode Primal and some bosses in 50 dungeons will still make you a splat on the floor regardless if you intend to be a tank or not, which isn't gonna happen. MNK is straight up dmg, with some small utility, and cooldowns to help stay alive. Even if your using materia slots, it won't make hardly any impact on your stats to consider yourself a dodge tank.
