This brings up a good point. I also did not use Perfect Balance again in any of my parses. I use it only once for my opener and don't use it again even though it is back up.

Also, I actually typically like to use ACT, but the recent update that increased accuracy and allowed it to parse ground AoEs also made it so it picks up random people in the zone. This I found to be very annoying for open world dummy parses, especially as it gets in the way of accurate automatic parsing. For that reason I've been using LogRep again for dummy parses.

Seems like it shows fracture is worth it to me. Monks job is dps and anything that is increasing dps is worth it. This is same argument lazy people were trying to make about not obtaining BFB after it got nerfed as a cross class ability. If fracture is causing you to mess up your rotation or go tp starved then you just need to get better, not an issue with fracture itself.

If you are not running out of TP after hitting the enemy continiously for over 4 minutes. Then you are doing something wrong.

When I fight Titan EX, I timed my skills so I do not lose my GL3 stacks, even after the first jump and the jump before the heart phase. I attack the bombs when I need to dodge landslides and bombs during bomb phases. I went with a group that killed Titan EX before the first Superbombs going off. I didn't use Fracture and guess what? I still run out of TP after getting close to 5 minutes, my only hope on getting some TP back is to get Gaol'd.

Now tell me how I can get better when I'm pushing out more GCD skills than any average Monks out there that were NOT running out of TP, struggling to keep GL3 stacks and using Fracture?

I know full well how to use it without messing up my rotation or dropping buffs where I can help it. Your response of "you just need to get better" is just as lazy and cliche.

Fracture is a GCD skill with a TP cost a good deal above the average MNK skill, and its effect on TP consumption becomes very apparent with prolonged use. The fact that it is on GCD means it, like ToD, will prolong the use of stance-advancing skills which are quite important for content with mechanics that can often lead to one dropping important buffs like GL3 or TS if not careful.

All I am saying is that those are the risks and costs associated with the use of Fracture. It is important to understand that and weigh it against the potential benefit. Even on a dummy parse, where there are no mechanics or risks to speak of the increase in DPS comes to be about a 1.6% increase. The question is: is a 1.6% potential increase to DPS worth the associated risks?

In my opinion, in most cases it is not. Like I said before, I can still see myself using it for relatively straightforward single-target burn phases such as Dreadnaughts or Asclepius, but other than that I will refrain from using it on bosses with mechanics that force off-time.

One important thing to note about Fracture is that it virtually always increases the Demolish downtime by 1 GCD. This means that you lose roughly 2/3s of a tick of Demolish because you delayed the normal cycle. The result is that the DPS increase of Fracture is less than at first glance ... in addition to the other risks / penalties of using it as you mention.

To put some of the risks into perspective ... if you have to dodge a mechanic and are out of contact for even 1 GCD, then Fracture is a DPS loss due to the loss of DK/TW uptime (even though GL is not impacted until you are out of contact for like 2-3 GCDs and use FR).

During the FS FB phase if you are not targeted by FS how do you manage to preserve TP?

I just did turn 5 as monk and was not targeted by FS first because I got too high in hate list and then after the OT start properly provoking/maintaining hate because of chance. In both cases I went dangerously close to TP starving (130 left before the link drops).

Also, when do you use perfect balance. Do you use it when the big snake first appears and maintain it throughout or do you stay away from the meteor and use it after that?

NoctisUmbra made it pretty clear. Managing -10% Blunt Resistance debuff, 18s DoT, 30s DoT, TwS damage buff. GL Stacks. Dodging AoEs, looking for good opportunities for Mantra. Also watching out for casts that need to be stunned, id rather not add another DoT to my micromanaging load. Also, it prolongs the use of GL which is never a good thing.

ToD total Potency (full Duration): 270
Demolish total minimum Potency (full Duration): 270
Fracture total Potency (full Duration): 220

In case anybody wanted the total potencies of these three DoTs (at full duration). Adding Fracture will in fact increase DPS, but its not worth it enough to me. If you only had to choose two, though, you could go with Demolish and Fracture. when one ends, the other is just about to end as well, making it easy on your rotation. But with ToD and Demolish, you will be spared a bit of TP since ToD would only have to be re-cast every 30 seconds as opposed to 18s

Demolish is actually a total of 310 potency if it is delivered from the rear. Initial hit of 70 + 6 ticks of 40.

    Otherwise, agreed.

Thats why I put minimum. Given everything goes wrong with this DoT (except it ending early) it will still manage to do 270
