Crit does not increase the damage of your crits. it increases the likelihood of landing a crit.Well I'm losing 6 Crit. I haven't been playing much lately since 2.1, I switched to Allagan Feet over Melee (for the stat change) and it just seems like I haven't done a high Crit hit like I'm use to seeing pre 2.1. Pre 2.1 the highest Crit I ever had was 787 and I seen it quite a bit, But since switching and losing Crit the highest I've seen is like 746.
So I guess I should be asking if DET is increasing my overall DMG and maybe I shouldn't just worry about the high spike DMG?
One point of determination weighs higher than one point of crit.
Any point of accuracy above cap is a completely useless.

Ok thanks for the info. Just not sure why my highest crits have went down by almost 40 DMG points.

Can anyone tell me what the stat caps are for MNK?
Say, how necessary are cross class skills from Marauder and Lancer on Monk? I am a passable Monk but I doubt I can handle being a Marauder in parties. xD

Invigorate and B4B are absolute necessaries for endgame. Invigorate is nice in long fights or TP heavy fights (T4) and B4B is a dmg buff, so why not?
Mercy Stroke from Marauder is a recommended skill due to it 0 tp use.
You'll know why if you happen to have 440+ speed, and fighting long battles.

Skill speed and battle duration don't make Mercy Stroke anymore or less effective. Unless you were referring to invigorate then disregard this.Invigorate and B4B are absolute necessaries for endgame. Invigorate is nice in long fights or TP heavy fights (T4) and B4B is a dmg buff, so why not?

Ok so fully buff with food and potion, what is everyone's highest Mercy spike dmg?

Just wondering, is it worth it to work Fracture into your rotation?
As it stands, vs. Boss enemies I am doing:
Dragon -> Twin Snake -> Snap -> Dragon (to actually apply the debuff) -> Fracture -> Twin Snake (refresh the buff) -> Touch of Death -> Demolish -> Howling Fist -> Bootshine - True Strike -> Snap -> Internal/BforB macro -> Dragon -> Twin -> Snap -> Boot -> rinse and repeat until I need to reapply Dots switching out Howling Fist with Mythril Peak (cause Howling is usually on CD).
What I'm finding is that Fracture does like... 7-20 damage each tick generally while Touch does about 50-75 and Demolish does about 75+.
Anyone have any input or any thoughts on the rotation (I find it to be pretty standard, mixing in anything that may be needed [AotD very very rarely])
No, Fracture is not worth using after 2.1. Use Foresight instead, the defense can really help in times when you know you are going to take damage.Just wondering, is it worth it to work Fracture into your rotation?
