Fixing Legacy Characters Story

The thing for me mainly is that they know about this bug since Beta Phase 3, but so far, not a single official word has ever been posted... that is what pisses me off.
As it stands, I don't play FF14 at all because I have have no desire to miss out on the story I should be getting with my 3 Legacy Chars. (Yes, Story is one of my main reasons for playing.)
And starting a 4th (new) Char ... don't really feel like it, to be honest. 3 Chars (one for each starting city), once they work as intended, are more than enough to chew through.

So, SE, I seriously hope you get your act together at some point and at least talk to us about this issue.

I understand we have more pertinent priorities with the game, but I have to say... I was so incredibly bummed out after meeting Minfilia. I thought I had the legacy story line despite not getting the intro, because the NPC's kept saying I looked familiar. I was expecting Minfilia to explain that there was a spell and yada yada yada. I just met her, got my primal questline, and not one word about looking familiar in anyway.

Like I said, I know it isn't more important than getting these servers fixed, but I've really been looking forward to this for a long time. Super disappointed I'm not getting to enjoy my 1.0 character as intended. ,_,

It's a little sad after all this wait to not get it. I was actually finding myself a bit frustrated during the game that everyone was treating me as some green adventurer!

I did receive the Legacy Chocobo though, not sure about the tattoos.

This, honestly. It's escalating in my eyes from being minor inconvenience to something that's really killing the game for me. I play for the story, and I can make another char if I really want to experience the 2.0 storyline. I don't.

I'm pretty sure you needed to have completed "Future's Perfect" and unlocked the "Once in a lifetime" achievement in 1.0 to get the so-called legacy storyline. The only reason the legacy storyline would make sense would be if you defeated Darnus, prayed at all of the stones which would lead you to being teleported to safety after Bahamut wrecked havoc.

Is there anyone here who actually unlocked the "Once in a lifetime" achievement and doesn't have the legacy storyline? It wouldn't make sense for you to have the legacy storyline if you didn't unlock it.

Very interesting except people who never fought van darnus got the right cs.

It's a bug known from beta phase 3 that needs to get fixed and FAST !

Just like how there are people who fought Darnus and didn't get it.
I never fought Darnus, but by story canon everybody from 1.0 was at the battle with Bahamut in, so really everyone got warped out --> everyone from 1.0 should have the CS.
Come on SE, at least admit it went a bit wrong. :/

Bump. I can't play on my character anymore because I don't want Minfilia to not remember me. Come on please someone update us on this.
