    I think you are confusing things now. Carmate explitely said on page 18 of this thread:

    In order for the alternative opening cutscene to play, you had to have cleared the Castrum Novum quest in 1.0. If this requirement was not fulfilled before the final data save, this opening will not be viewable.
    He never said anything about more than one trigger. Those who did were us players who explained how SE could have handled the situation better than just tieing everything to one end-game quest. Or do I misunderstand you here now?

    Just a question, if you read this. Do you think it would be possible to get a little writeup on how exactly this whole situation was tackled by the team and what made you decide to do it the way it is? I mean, Yoshi has explained stuff like the 90k or 1017 errors, surely he has 5 minutes to explain the reasoning behind the decisions made for legacy people and their version of the story, no?
    (Throughout the thread, people have posted things that don't make much sense in the story as it is for 1.0 chars who maybe got relatively far in 1.0 but did not do the Darnus quest that acts as trigger. Especially the first 20 levels in ARR and the NPCs you meet during this time are prime examples. Why did the team decide against multiple triggers that activate specific parts of the story instead of 1 trigger masterswitching everything?)
