Fixing Legacy Characters Story

Obviously our characters would have to have completed later quests in the 7th umbral era story line to affect the Legatus-level Garlean story line in ARR. Mine didn't, so I can accept that her story won't include such references.

Also, we need to separate character from actor here. Name in credits, supporting v1 and the devs in any way: all that was people, not characters. Legacy Chocobo is just that strange thing the character finds in the mailbox, like the Coeurl Mount. It just means some out-of-game money changed hands.

And it's natural I feel disappointed because I thought I was told that my character played some part of this effort against the 7th umbral era, but the devs now say she didn't. It's that awkward embarrassment when you find out someone you've been proud about is revealed to be less than that memory. The extra sting is that since we controlled the characters, it's a statement about us as players, too. (For those that did complete most or all the quests, you're probably feeling some anger, too.)

But the worst and saddest of the situation here is not only this plot hole but memory hole, and the situation we find ourselves and our characters in:
• New ARR character: Never been here, starts to make their story. Happy.
• 7th umbral era quests completed: teleported in, forgotten by NPCs, gets remembered. Happy.
• Other v1: Forgotten by NPCs, forgotten by devs, never remembered. Very sad.
