Please change the forum limitations

Square-Enix... dear god.

First they put a 15 minute lockout after each post ON A BETA FORUM which is you know... used for FEEDBACK and DISCUSSION

now I see this crap on the new boards.... man, you guys have no idea wut you're doing. If square-enix owned a bus they would only let you sit for 10 seconds every 2 minutes.

I can understand some restriction (though it should be something like 10 posts per day + 1 thread if you're below lvl 25 and after lvl 25 no restriction at all) but what annoys me the most is the 1000 character limit on posts :/

There is no need to personally attack anyone on these forums when they are just stating their opinion on the rules and restrictions placed on us.

Be respectful, and in turn others will show you the same level of respect.

well since it only takes people viewing the forum to bring them down post restrictions will not solve that issue.

I haven't ran in to the thread starting / total posts issue. Nearly every time I run in to the 1000 character limit though. That isn't even a paragraph.

So basically because some people can't behave civil on the forums we're all getting 'censored'.
That's not a nice way to welcome new players.
The 1000 character limit is also rather obnoxious.

Yeah I'm a bit miffed that I'm not able to reply to someone whose asked me a question if I've exceeded my allotted posts.

This is likely to drive people away from the game forum to private forums.

I am actually getting fed up with the posting restrictions mainly in general forums where I have some useful info to provide only to get slapped in the face with a you can't post this message crap.
