Bards, Checking In!

My original intention was to be BRD, but with the changes I am unsure. I do not particularly like PUG, and really enjoyed having CNJ abilities and actually being support. As I posted on the beta forums, at least with BRD being CNJ/LNC there was the option of going either support or DD depending on your ability choices. Now with PUG/LNC our only choice is DD and that makes me sad. I will see what happens come EA and launch.

As a Legacy player with the Job, you can just look at the shared traits and see what 2 classes are open to pull skills from.

Heal, Tank or Damage. Nothing inbetween. I wanted to be bard for support role, now that role doesn't even exist in game.

Returning 1.0 Bard, took part in all 4 phases of Beta. Cannot wait for early-access. Though my bard is already at level 50 I am looking forward to pursuing the relic weapon for Bard as well as my Warrior and my Arcanist. Ragnarok Server, NA-PS3/PC Player.

Like many other I am a bit disappointed with Bard changes from CNJ to PUG/LNC. I lvl my CNJ to 15 phase 4 not knowing this. It is ok though wont take me long to lvl pug. I was looking forward to being support. I guess we still are but not as much as before.

I keep seeing people say that we lost support functionality on BRD. Honestly, I think the change from CNJ->PGL changed nothing about our viability as support (or even increased it), while at the same time buffing our damage.
