Bards, Checking In!

Would love to check in as a Bard, but while SE is still fixing my double service accounts issue I guess I have to wait.
Looking forward to being a Bard though, sounds really fun.

Was wondering if staying as an archer means more dps as well as self reliant since we can use heal / raise etc?
Not really sure if there are people who do not advance into jobs.

Anyone know if Foe's Requiem increases the damage of BM, Summoner's Limit Breaks? I haven't had a good time to test this and have done this a few times. Not much difference though but it's a good thing to know if it works.

It is a debuff on the mob, so it should, but then I don't know how the actual mechanics work, they might be more complicated than that behind the scenes.

I wonder if foe's requiem could be good for fates. If you have it on, you give off hate to any enemy that comes within distance. Put it on and as soon as new fates enemies spawn, they'll instantly target you.

So I've been getting back on my BRD since 1.0 and I'm having a blast. Was wondering how everyone feels about Foe Requiem. Usually I like to use it to get some extra dps on the boss but sometimes I feel its better to save my mp so I can get the healer/SMN's mp back when it gets scary. Are people seeing some actual dps increase from other damage dealers? I'm guessing the only class it really benefits are casters?

I tested Requiem with Battle Voice on HM Ifrit nails before Black Mage used meteor. Didn't notice a damage increase.

Not sure limit breaks are affected by buffs.

LB are affected by buffs. Ask any DRG who uses Blood for Blood before LBing.
