NA PS3 Account. EU Square Enix Account

Hi,

I have a 1.0 FFXIV EU account and a NA PSN account. I want to play, if possible, using my NA PSN account. With the open beta/early access when I try to login to the client on my NA PSN account I get an error -"The region id different. Please log in to an application with the same region that you registered your Square Enix account". ( I used an NA Early access key to download the client)

Note I didn't get this issue with the closed beta.

Does anyone know if this is true of the full game? I have an EU version of the PS3 Collectors Edition pre-ordered. Will I be able to play that using my NA PS3 account?

i.e. using my EU SE account and my EU copy of the game with a NA PS3 account.

Alternatively if I cancel the per-order and just buy the NA digital download on PS3 would that work? Or will I still have region issues?
