You turn off error messages in the Configuration interface. You can find this by clicking on the gear located at the bottom right of your chat window. From here, click on the Log Filter for the chat tab you want to apply filters to. In this case, it’s the #1 General Tab. This opens up your Log Filter UI. Under the Announcements tab, the fifth option is “Error Messages.” By default it is checked, uncheck it and your error messages will no longer appear in the General tab.

    Hello, everyone!

I face problem with my pet, Carbuncle. Since, he use "backdraft" randomly.
Because of that, I face problem with party play. I afraid they will boot me from party
I don't want him to use "backdraft" but I want him to use "Gust" only.
    Any ideas?

I made up this macro to assist on the synthesize phase for making HQ Bronze ingots, my BS is lvl 12 so i have enough Control for it, every once and a while It'll fail even with Steady Hand, but it works ok.

    /ac "Inner Quiet"
    /wait 3
    /ac "Steady Hand"
    /wait 3
    /ac "Basic Touch"
    /wait 3
    /ac "Basic Touch"
    /wait 3
    /ac "Basic Touch"
    /wait 3
    /ac "Basic Synthesis"
    /echo "Synthesis Complete"

It's nice when you got a lot of hq copper and tin and plan on making quite a bit of ingots

Kinda need some help here, I know it asked before but don't seems to solve the issue. In general I will want to make 3 macro to accomodate my Arcanist's pet skills so I don't need to look at (3*how many summons) icons but just 3 macro so it will change according to what pet I have out in combat.

I have no issue making Carbuncle to use spells that requires a target, namely Emerald's Backdraft:

    /ac "Backdraft" <t>

But I'm stuck trying to make Topaz's Shining Topaz and Curl works as both skills does not require a target to activate.

    /ac "Shining Topaz"
    /ac "Curl"

doesn't work (I know " " isn't required for single word spell but just good practice for me) EDIT: To clarify, I did try every single placeholder (<t>,<pet>,<me> etc) but none of them seems to work as well.

Any help here? In summary, I will eventually need a macro to perform different pet skill according to which pet is active.

    Thanks in advance!

It's generally understood that pet actions cannot be macro'd at this time. Hopefully SE will change this very soon!

Until then you'll want to select the Steady stance and only use Obey to send your pet out, then it will only use the abilities you tell it to. You may have to reset the stance after every battle though :\

So that kinda explained why I have been encountering problem doing this..

I have no issue using Obey and command as it is (in fact, I have been doing this - I like to micromanage my pet), the main issue is I will have to place all of their abilities to the hotbar and that will make it very messy, I'm dealing fine with just having 2 summons at the moment but I can foresee the problem will affect heavily when I will have more summons to use with.

As an Arcanist player I have had much trouble with macros especially when it comes to my pet, unfortunately i do not have ghe answer to the "Making my pet attack problem" I do have a few useful macros that I finally figured out, tested and successfully pulled off (I am playing on PS3)

First is a healing carbuncle without having to manually target him.
    /target <p>
    /facetarget
    /ac Physick <p>

next I will find extremely useful in dungeons, being a DoT class I have time between keeping DoT's active to observe for mobs and perform actions for Strats, but also keep aggro off our healer while tank and other dps are busy.... so i noticed that when a healer gets aggro he runs around like crazy and tries to heal himself and that is where this beauty comes in.. as I have my setup so I cant targe party members, only enemies I target the aggroed enemy and use this macro!

    /ac Physick <tt>

however would be more useful if I could get carbuncle to use sic or an ability to protect ONLY the healer (My theory on it is using Topaz for quick enmity gain for aggro but can't find a macro yet =s) and i am trying to implement a way to make it so carbuncle gets set to Steady or obey at summoning and so far have a macro start ready for once I find the combination to do exactly that!
/ac "Summon II" "Insert YOUR name" (my case "Sardis Sallavantei")
    /wait 8

it takes 8 seconds for carbuncle to be targettable from summoning, once figured out ill add the command to make him be in steady or obey!

well all i hope this helps in some way =D
