What should the bonus 30 stat points be spent on for WHM? I mean, obviously mind, but should there be any put in any other stat?

I spent mine on Piety. I had never struggled for power until now but all of a sudden it was an issue so did that purely to make my mana pool larger - looking forward to some regen soon

Level 45+ gear has so much Piety on it you won't need to put your extra points in Piety. For leveling a few points here and there is nice to be safe healing leveling instances since your gear has no Piety at that level, but even then I'd put most of them in Mind. Once you get your 45 blues you can reroll to full Mind.

Almost at White Mage status; but I did have some questions that I had:

Would I still be able to wear leather armor as opposed to cloth? & What would be more beneficial to wear?

You can only wear cloth and you can only need on cloth but that's what's best for us anyway since it has the stats we need. You need the Mind and Piety from cloth armor. We don't need the extra defense from leather, anyway. Even with a staff instead of a 1h and shield, I've never felt I needed more defenses.
