PS3 Client, error [11006][20641][20643]

Fresh download, new user account, same crash.

Looks like it gets to ~1420MB/~1800 before cancelling itself with this error...

Mine is the same. I know that it starts installing a piece of the patch at that point, too. Because in Beta Phase 4, when I downloaded THIS EXACT SAME PATCH it installed some data at that point. Which leads me to believe that this is a data corruption issue. If we knew where the patch was stored we could probably figure it out. I wish I never deleted the P4 client. I am so fucking mad. Happy Birthday, Eric.

You guys installing the Pre-order client or the P4 client? It is possible for you to download the P4 client again if you go to your download list... I'm tired but just throwing it out there in case want to try that.

I tried searching this problem online, no one has a solution sorry.

As valid as your idea is, and it REALLY is a valid idea... that shouldn't even be an option. It's going to take me like 5 hours to download that client again. My PS3 has been on, non-stop for the past 24 hours trying to download this bullshit.

5 hours to download... thats awesome... I've had my ps3 sitting for 12 hours now and it's not even at 50% downloading the client itself from PSN

Oh, it takes me 5 hours to download the 1.8 GB PATCH. I typed client by mistake. The 6GB client takes me WELL over 24 hours to download. Fuck.

The sizes you see is actually just the total of all the files it needs to download.
It's not a single 6GB file for the client. At least it's not for PC.

Still, sorry to hear it takes that much time for you to download stuff.

Hi guys.

I was wondering if is there any way we could petition or request from Square Enix to update their launcher and add a pause button? Or has people been doing it? I've got friends in another country and they disconnect every time. Downloading a 7.3gb installer and then disconnecting in the middle of it is something that's not worth it due to excess of bandwidth use, may it be for PC or PS3.

I'm just saying because I myself can't make a post atm due to my character lvl being low or I would've made one myself.

Fuck it. I give up. Stole my roommate's PS3. Will try installing from his physical copy when we get it next week.

I swear to god, if the fix is "Get a new PS3", SE needs to be the one to buy it for me, because this is bullshit.
