PS3 Client, error [11006][20641][20643]

Did you eventually find a fix for this? I am getting this exact same problem except i'm installing the full version from the disc, then the same error happens during the update.

Reformatted 3 times now so anything linking it to a beta version is non-existent on my PS3.

I've called SE about this 3 times now.

First time they said they had never encountered this problem before and that a supervisor will send a solution via email. That email never arrived.
Second time they suggested turning on Javascript and enabling cookies, both were already on and still didn't work after I tried fresh reinstallation.
Third time, they speculated a hard drive corruption. Suggested filling up that "portion" of hard drive with other games and files, then installing FFXIV incase the FFIV installation was in the corrupt section of the hard drive.

I wiped my hard drive, then installed about 3GB worth of games, then installed FFXIV.
Re-launched the game. Still got the same damned error during update. SE claims to have never encountered this and they don't know a fix (well not the technicians I spoke with anyway).

Oh ok sorry for misreading it I can't really say or do much over on my end I'm sorry. But I had a problem like this for beta 4 as well and I just kept trying till it finally went through. Don't know of that will help but yeah that's all I have.

May have been your save files. Do you have plus? Did they auto re-download to your system. Delete all your save files related to FFXIV.

On the PC version to fix this issue you remove launcher patches. The launches patches for this game seem to be saved on the SAVE FOLDER. The Game Data folder is used for the client patches. Delete the save files from your account and from your cloud storage and try again.

did not have to go that far, simply had to delete FFXIV save files. Hope you did not have fond save data from other games.

Since this is about PS3... Are you downloading wirelessly or wired?
If wireless, can you connect your PS3 to your network wired?

If downloads are corrupted as the error codes seem to indicate, it's normally network related.
