One-handed wands for conjurer seem to have less durability then all other weapons in the game. After the patch which changed the display for all equipment durability into percentage form, the ability to gauge the benefits of certain weapons based on how much durability was lost. 100% tells me nothing about how a wand durability might compare to a staff durability.
Now that I have started to rank up conjurer more seriously with my thaumaturge friend, I realize that my weapon is averaging the need for repairs at nearly three times the rate of his weapons. It would be nice if an investigation was done and hopefully a balancing of the total durability on the one-handed wands. It is not so much my play style so much as the fact that the wands have less durability then other weapons. I can play thaumaturge with a one-handed scepter with the same play tactics and skills and it will last much longer before needing a repair.
Those who remember when the equipment display for durability was in a number/number form will know that one-handed conjurer wands had about three times less durability then a staff and roughly half of the durability of other class one-hand weapons. (Scepters, Swords) I would just like for it to be a little more lenient and fair for my conjurer to use a wand and shield since the current repair materials for all two-handed staffs are incredibly annoying. (Blood, Shells, Leafs, etc)
One last note, I am aware of how durability is lost and all my testing to come to these conclusions about the lack of durability are pretty sound. Although my friend and I are different classes in the comparisons, we use rank appropriate skills and weapons and often my friend is the one spamming actions more then myself. We are both about the same rank and fight the same mobs while he ends up tanking with more hate spells and dealing more of the overall damage to the mobs. I use less skills and toss cures occasionally and find in the same session of play, I will hit the 35% mark multiple times before he ever hits 35% with his scepter. My wand is even a +1 while his is a simple normal quality scepter meaning my wand has more durability then an average quality wand.
