Chocobo is supposed to be equivalent to a full player. SMN shouldn't be doing 2 players worth of damage.

Really? equivalent to a full player? even my lil iffy has more def and hp than my chocobo. If you drag your chocobo into a fight that requires you to get another player, then you're going to have a bad time :P the AI on the silly yellow bird is just bad, its like playing with a naked player, in terms of dmg and def/hp, which shows how pathetic the dmg is on SMN pets. Not to mention that the chocobo reaction to things, is awful slow.

Me: Argh I'm getting butt***** by this elite mob.
Chocobo: .............oh! here have a regen!
Me: God damit! you stupid yellow bird, im being zerged down by this thing, it killed my little iffy!
Chocobo:.........oh! I lost some hp, better cast regen on myself.
Me: I'm almost dead help me!!!
Chocobo:.......right, here have a cure now when your hp is down to two digits!
Me: Dies 5 secs after.
