PS3:CE and prior PC account

Good afternoon. Quick question:

I have a 1.0 account and I preordered the PS3:CE version. I just inputted my PS3 code into the PSN and the client is now installed on my Playstation. So, come the 24th, will I be able to play my character on my PC with my new CE perks? I know the site says, "yes". But does anyone know how it's supposed to work? It may be to early to know right now, though.

FYI: I bought the PS3 version because the CE comes with some nice extra stuff that was not available for PC.

Yes, and if you have a Legacy account you'll have Early Access as well. But, if you don't have a Legacy account, your PC service account won't activate until official release day (the 27th). The way Early Access works is your account is flagged for Early Access, and if it's not than you're just unable to log-in early. There's not really anything in particular you'll need to do.

THis seems to match with my understanding of the situation. I'm in the same boat (1.0 PC regular edition, preordered PS3 CE via PSN) and got the same vibe while setting things up. It does seem lame that I'll be able to do early access on my PS3 and not PC though... You'd think owning two licenses, one for each platform, having preordered, CE, and having an active account would be enough to let me play on the platform of my choice.

Any information for this same situation, but just for EA codes?
IE. I have a 1.0 account (non legacy) and activated my EA code for PS3. Will i be able to play on either, or am i stuck on PS3 until the game Launches?

Hmm. It's a tad frustrating, but it seems that contrary to what we were told way back when that by pre-ordering PS3 and adding it to the service account for an existing Non-legacy v1 account that we'd gain the ability to log in with either for early access, we're stuck waiting on full launch to play on the PC version while playing the PS3 version.

My Beta Phase 4 PC client says "No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.", which isn't funny considering I will have CE versions of both (PS3 version on way and v1.0 PC CE). Meanwhile my PS3 updated without issue.

So... either registration of the Pre-order code messed stuff up or no, we'll have to wait to play the PC version.

Seems from the other thread that *someone* in SE decided to limit EA to one or the other, not both. Legacy can't play EA on PS3 and PS3 EA can't on PC. Sucks, but it would suck even more if people went and bought both PC and PS3 and want to play EA on both with the same account.

Seems which ever gets the EA flag first prevents the other. Least that's how it apparently currently stands. Will be watching to see if that changes, but I'm currently incredibly T'd off.
