    Then you can go with option b) spend several hours on the phone(possibly being charged an absurd amount of long distance), praying you don't get disconnected and have to start over, and if you're reeeally lucky, they might fix it for you

    Been there, done that, got the chocobo plushie. Actually I only had the privilege of paying for an hour+ long phone call and listening to "please ensure you have a ticket" and "our customer service representative will be with you as soon as possible" over and over again, and finally giving up when I read others not getting any help when they got through anyway.

    It seems that people who spoke to them later in the day yesterday started getting fixed codes as opposed to ppl who talked to them the day before... maybe something changed on their end and they became 'allowed' to give out codes if you have your 18 and 20 codes to prove you have it.
