Early Access code - Wrong Region

Back to the topic at hand. My second friend has made it to Gamestop and canceled his original preorder. While on his way out the door, he preordered from Amazon and got the 18 digit EA code almost immediately. We have since enter that code following the aforementioned post and he is now set for EA with the correct region.

The fact that cancelling and re pre-ordering is a main way to fix your code problems, says a lot about how terribly the company screwed up.
