Mouse Pointer vanishing in Fullscreen Mode

So I got a reply to my ticket about this situation after 7 days and it looks like there's zero hope in site. I mean it's been an on-going issue since beta 1 and absolutely nothing. Here's the reply I got.....

"In order to prioritise time-sensitive issues being reported during Early Access, your ticket has been closed"

Yes prioritize was spelled wrong I'm just copying and pasting..

In any case this is pretty frustrating. I mean I just want an acknowledgment on the issue, but nope!

This is sad news Syklonis.. Thanks for this update. I also opened a ticket myself some days ago, most probably it will be closed soon also I'm afraid.. I will keep on bumping and opening new tickets obviously since its the only thing we can all do at this point, so I would like to ask all players suffering from this to keep on opening tickets, I hope that sometime they will actually pay attention to it..

same problem here too. i thought it was my crappy computer. guess it was the OS. please fix it. the fps is killing my comp, and would really like the game to run smoothly. thanks!

ATI 4890 Catalyst 13.1

Cursor will not work in full screen mode. Forced to use windowed mode, luckily this card can still handle it at playable fps. Would like it to work in full screen mode. I've had this problem before in Starcraft II mainly seemed to be connected to ATI video cards for SC2.

I sent a ticket (when early release started) for this same issue with a very detailed description of what the issue was and all the things I'd tried to resolve the issue. I got a response two days ago. It reads as follows:

"Dear Customer,

Regarding your request for technical support. Please find your answer below.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It will be forwarded to the appropriate party. We are not aware of there being any trouble or problems in this game like you are describing, although we are not doubting your claim. Please attempt to continue trying to resolve the issue locally while we report this issue to development and management. Thank you for taking the time to contact us today and we look forward to your opinions of our upcoming titles.

Thank you for contacting the SQUARE ENIX Support Center."

Have you guys tried running the game under compatibility mode? Try using Windows XP (SP3).

Right click your FFXIV shortcut>Properties>Compatibility Tab>select Windows XP (SP3*)>Apply. Also, do this for all other FFXIV executables.

I received a response on the 24th about this from a ticket I had submitted. Although there is a post in the bug report forums though there has been no official response. The ticket says

"Thank you for contacting us regarding an issue you are encountering in the game. We understand that this can be very frustrating, and may be impeding your ability to progress in the game. However, to best be able to escalate and track the status of your report, we request that you submit the bug report through our forums at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...31-Bug-Reports, using the appropriate format. The specific forum to submit it in is the In-Game Bugs forum. We will take your report and try to resolve these concerns as quickly as possible.

No kidding, I mean it just shows you that SE have no one reading or monitoring these forums, or they would know about this issue. It's getting pretty ridiculous now.
