Hi PastelioDibiaggio, thanks for your update. I think the post you mean is this one > http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ullscreen-mode so yes, it has indeed been posted there.. and not only there..I received a response on the 24th about this from a ticket I had submitted. Although there is a post in the bug report forums though there has been no official response. The ticket says
"Thank you for contacting us regarding an issue you are encountering in the game. We understand that this can be very frustrating, and may be impeding your ability to progress in the game. However, to best be able to escalate and track the status of your report, we request that you submit the bug report through our forums at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...31-Bug-Reports, using the appropriate format. The specific forum to submit it in is the In-Game Bugs forum. We will take your report and try to resolve these concerns as quickly as possible.
Thank you again for taking the time to report this to us and best of luck.

In SCII after a long time of playing, I started to get the cursor corruption where it would just disappear. I don't recall if I was using full screen or windowed mode. The solution was to set cursor mouse trailing, and reduce the length of the trailing to practically zero so you wouldn't really notice the trailing, but that would enable SCII to show the cursor while playing. Doesn't seem to work for FFXIV the same way though.
Unfortunately any fixes everyone are posting just are not working for this issue. It's the game not running in Vista and XP for the most part. I feel it's something the way D3D renderer is working. But who knows. I have tried everything you can think of. So I'm done messing with this, I'm only bumping to get it passed all these EA and login issues. Now I have to rely on Square to get off their butts and acknowledge there is an issue, and not close tickets submitted without actually looking into this and other threads. It's really ridiculous! In SCII after a long time of playing, I started to get the cursor corruption where it would just disappear. I don't recall if I was using full screen or windowed mode. bumpdi bump SE take a look and respond you lazy sons of.....
Does anyone know if a hardware mouse is available in the game? I heard about a fan made patch that can activate it? Or any other third party program that can emulate a mouse? The game looks so amazing, but I need to use a small window to get optimal performance, and full windowed is too laggy. Full screen mode is very smooth and I really need a cursor![]()
Buuuump! I really wanna play in fullscreen. Windowed kills. I can run 50+fps in fullscreen and only 30 tops in windowed.![]()
bump! Bump!
Thanks for coming back on that Zoultrias. Indeed deactivating mouse cursor trail seems not to be the solution, at least for me..
