This happens to me. I'm in Vista of course. Also though, I don't hear the english voice acting in the main questlines. My wife's audio works on her Windows 8 but it doesn't work on my Vista. I switched it to German to see if that would play but the servers went down before I could test it.
Same here. Even tough I use Windows XP.
But I guess there is not much of a difference between XP and Vista.
Bump.
Same problem, no cursor in full screen mode. Using windows vista.
Should we post in bug forums? Not sure if there is one in that forum, but we may get a response.
Agreed, this is a ridiculous bug that should have been dealt with in Beta. Please Fix
I am also having this problem. I cannot go into fullscreen mode because the cursor disappears. I am using Vista 64. PLEEEASE fix this asap.
For people having the cinematic on half screen only issue and the problems with audio in cutscenes, this will fix it:
Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates
Find these two Windows Updates: KB 2803821 and KB 2834904 and delete them.

Mouse pointer issues in full screen are usually D3D rendering problems, there are some games that have this same problem and most of them include separate options in the configuration menu to address them. By the way, this problem is also Windows XP SP2, not just Vista. I'll take a look through the config files here in a sec and see if I can find a fix.
Edit: Config file has a couple things that may fix it, however, I'm not sure if manual editing of config through notepad is against ToS or not. If someone can confirm that it isn't, I'll post a couple things to try.

Just please post your findings in the cfg. I don't think there's anything there though. I have even tried disabling hardware acceleration using directx sdk with no luck, but I still believe it could be a D3D issue as you have said. For people having the cinematic on half screen only issue and the problems with audio in cutscenes, this will fix it:
