Use a macro with a recast timer command perhaps? It could help you out. Nice post though, a good read.

Agree with pretty much everything the OP says.

The lag is due to the servers being in Japan, which someone else stated, one of the many reasons I would have preferred regional servers.

Agree that the UI is counter intuitive, not having hot-keys is a big no no IMO, as is the fact that when you mouse click the (i) icon at an aetheryte it doesn't bring up the aertheryte menu, instead it brings up the player menu asking you to then bring up the aetheryte menu.

Agree that we need 3 action bars which are viewable at all times and don't pop up and then disappear every time you target something new.

Macro's are too slow to use for gear change outs and skill swapping, need a much better system for this.

I could go on all day, but I won't :P
