    Why Aren't There Lv50 or Lv60 Enemies Anywhere?

    I don't understand why enemies in the world always stop one level before the cap.. The ONLY enemies in the game at capped level are the water sprites at Urth's Fount. Other than that, everything is lv49.

    Then we have Heavensward. Why is the entirety of Azys La lv59? What's the point of having this area FILLED with enemies that are the same level and likely same HP? Same with the Hinterlands. Lv59 enemies near ------'s Cave. Why just lv59? There can't be any lv60 enemies anywhere except for passive B rank hunts and A-S that you rarely encounter alone?

    Also, how about above 60 enemies? How about some lv65s or lv70s?

    Lv50 water sprites aren't even that strong. But at least they exist...

    You didn't look around quite hard enough there, chief. :3

    Pretty sure Sphinxes in Azys Lla are level 60.

    Pre-Heavensward yeah, the only lvl50s outside of Dungeons/Trials/Raids are the Water sprites at the Fount(and what Ashkendor pointed out...), but waaay up above the islands on Azys Lla's Flagship are lvl60 Sphinx, Fire Sprites, and Warspites.

    I do agree, though, when 3.0 was first released the devs pretty much said that Heavensward Open World WILL be dangerous... yeah, only if you're mobbed in a FATE or something...

    It's actually pretty dangerous for DPS classes as you're leveling up. Of course it's not going to be dangerous at max level with anything even remotely resembling current gear. Tanks and healers have it pretty easy, but DPS can easily get their asses handed to them. Especially Black Mages, since you can't effectively move and cast. Leveling Black Mage was such a chore for me because of that fact. I can't tell you how many times I got careless and died just doing something as simple as my daily hunt mobs. :x
