Selecting Main character for forum access?

I have a question!

When I visited the lodestone (http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/index.html) and logged-in with my account name and password (same as one entered for the PS3 beta), I was informed by a notice stating, "There are no characters on this FINAL FANTASY XIV service account. Use of the Lodestone requires an account with at least one character."

Can anyone advise on this? My character is selected on these forums, and there is definitely character data. Is there something I'm unaware of, or something I should do to gain access to the lodestone? Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this inquiry.

Lodestone is full of old data, you need to wait till they launch the new version with the start of offiical service.

I was trying to find where I read about when the new one starts, and here is the link to where I see it

Also I noticed there is a Lodestone button in the top banner of the forum.
This just redirects back to the forum at the moment, but I expect that will be updated when Lodestone 2.0 goes live.
