Ideas to make crafting more appealing

I am hoping if Yoshi kept anything from Tanaka's plan it is group crafting. If it is fun and interesting could be a great way to get people who didn't like crafting normally to enjoy it, as well as add a whole new dimension to crafting.

I feel FFXI's synergy craft might of been the test of group crafting, was an event where multiple people with crafts could come together with a synergist to combine their skills to create an item. If SE can do this and take it to the next level it could turn out to be a big win.

I left before synergy was released in FFXI.

If we could understand how it failed in FFXI, we could try to think of ways it could work in FFXIV.
