So at launch I can just buy the upgrade, without having my 1.0 client code or anything?
And thanks for the help about this guys
Yes, you just login with your account and buy the upgrade and you will then have Collectors Edition.
This will probably either automatically upgrade your account or give you a special key to upgrade with.
Knowing SE's obsession with keys it will probably be a key, However they did say it would be buyable through this new mogstation thing so maybe not.
Yes if you link your PS3 CE to your regular 1.0 you will get the CE items to that account.
Onion Helm was the preorder item for 1.0CE
One last question: do you know where I would login to buy it? Like the client or SE store?
Edit.
Ok cool here's a page that explained what I was having trouble getting

Not unless you start a new SE account. You need to contact customer service to inquire into a refund/cancelling your order. Even if they could apply that code to your account you would not want it as you can get the exact same thing for $20 with the digital upgrade.Ok so I am 1.0/Legacy and bought this

You guys saying I won't get my Couerl Mount?

I canceled my physical PC CE preorder, went to buy a PS3 physical CE, found they were all sold out, and so were physical PC CEs. When I went to see if there was a way to uncancel my pre-order, I discovered that I had requested it returned.
"Dear ________ __________,
Thank you for ordering from Square-Enix, Inc.. At your request, a return has been initiated. Your request to return items ordered will expire in 30 days. You must follow the instructions below before your request expires. We cannot issue a refund before these instructions are followed.
Each product must be received at its correct corresponding address in order for us to process your refund.
Please read carefully to ensure that each product is returned to the correct location. Once the product is received, your refund should appear within 5-7 business days."
Does this mean that my package is not cancelled, and that, rather than not ship it at all, they'll ship it to me and wait for me to ship it back to SE?
I guess I'll post this here instead of starting a new thread, I don't quite remember what it said but when I entered my pre-order code, it says I got Mog Hat, Cait Sith, and Beta Phase Entry.. Is this normal or should I complain...?
Yes, CE Digital Upgrade is $19.99 and available on official launch.
If you're existing account is a non-CE 1.0 account, then you need to purchase the Digital Upgrade for $19.99 (available on launch). This will give you all the ARR CE digital items, which will arrive in your in-game Mog Mail. If you want to pre-order ARR for the purpose of getting the Mog Cap and Cait Sith Doll Minion added to your existing Legacy account, I suggest you pre-order the PS3 Standard version instead and link your PS3's SEN account to your SE account. Doing this will give your Legacy account all the digital items and the ability to play on either platform as well. **Note: You will still need to get the CE Digital Upgrade to get the CE digital items.Ok so I am 1.0/Legacy and bought this

That's normal. Your pre-order code gives you: 1) Early Access 2) Mog Cap 3) Cait Sith Doll Minion.
