SE i made a mistake when logging in phase 4..Please revert my char!

It's crazy to me that people still managed to mess this up when they were told they'd get one chance at it. The starter city tied to the class has been gone over so many times I cannot believe people still made mistakes with this. Yes I wanted to start as ARN so I could use all that exp i got from redo'ing 1-20 again, but I wanted to start in Ul'Dah, so I had a choice of picking from Ul'Dah classes, I knew this so i picked accordingly.

Sorry but I'm not the genius that some of you rude posters are. I clicked my main 1.0 char and expected to go to character creation, ONE CLICK, just one and my lev 21 conj is now a war....

You were given a notice prior to proceeding to character creation. I'm not trying to call you stupid or anything, let's be clear, but I'm not sure how you think you could "turn your lev 21 conj into a war" with one click. It takes several clicks to get through character creation whether it's a new or an old character.

We were told waaaaaaaay before now that city and starting class are now linked.

Only issue I had was the name change. The saved character data didn't work for me either but I wrote down my options for looks.I didn't see anything for a name change though. I went through the character changes and assumed it would be the same set up for making a new character and prompt me for a name after that but nothing came up.

I was not assuming anything. I know from experience what SE support will and won't do, and one thing they won't do is let you change your character. There was a BUG and ISSUE acknowledged by the dev team and for THIS SPECIFIC reason they are allowing SPECIFIC PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE ISSUE to fix certain things. But if you picked the wrong thing by mistake or just aren't happy with it, they are not going to change it for you.

Nope, they won't change it for you but they'll let you change it on your own evidently OR GIVE YOU A PHIAL WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE. Yeah, I can talk in caps too but it won't make any difference, people will be able to re-customize their character one way or another. The fact that you said it won't happen and you were so sure of it, was wrong. It's not like you could predict what was coming either and said "unless there was a bug" because again, you're not a psychic.

using caps in specific words for emphasis is not "talking in caps." But apparently there are people like you who take joy in picking apart everything people say.

Only people affected by the bug or issue mentioned in the official post will be getting to change their characters. Not everybody. I'm not wrong, and I'd appreciate it of you just stopped posting to me if you can't be more civil about it.

If you're looking to be civil why bother posting in a thread you're so obviously against? It doesn't even affect you if the OP gets a chance to re-customize or not. Why bother coming into the thread saying "no they won't" when obviously, ultimately you could be wrong, as you are in this case. If you wanna be civil, then set an example. And FYI, my manners have been just as civil as yours despite the fact that we obviously disagree.

There probably isn't any way for them to know. I'm guessing they'll create a thread for us to post in if we encountered problems, and they'll just have to take our word for it.

I wasn't able to load my benchmark data either, so I tried to recreate my planned appearance from scratch and ended up getting a few things wrong. Nothing horribly different, but I still appreciate the chance to do it again.

Can't waste posts here, really, there are no timers. And I really appreciate that. I don't have a beef with you personally because I don't know you, but it's very irritaring to see people coming into threads they obviously don't care about only to post against it for the sake of bringing the OP down. No offense, you may or may not have been doing it purposely, and if you weren't then I guess we had a misunderstanding.
