SE i made a mistake when logging in phase 4..Please revert my char!

There was a post about this on beta forums from 1.0 players who'd made a mistake in the char creation area and are now stuck with the wrong starting class/city state/hairstyle/voice option etc etc. People were keeping the thread bumped so a community rep could see the post and pass our concerns onto the development team. Im creating this thread to keep the old thread going and hopefully those of us who made a mistake are allowed to rectify the mistake. yes it was stupid to make a mistake but then the whole char login process wasnt made very clear

I support this thread! Even though we get the phial of magical re-customization for our first month of subscription I'd really like the option to remake my char and not wait until then. I'm sure a lot of us "tried" our new looks in p4 and changed our minds.

We have confirmed an issue wherein players were unable the load their character data from the official benchmark when changing the appearance of their FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 characters.

In addition, we identified several display issues with the editing screen itself. Due to these display issues, players may have had a difficult time changing the appearance and/or character name of their characters.

Therefore, we have decided to provide the following services.

- Provide a one-time character name change.
- Provide a one-time character appearance change.

* Please note that we will only be providing the service to those that have encountered who encountered problems during the character change process.

We will follow-up once we have more information on the matter.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

You're assuming I refresh the launcher constantly, it just so happened to be in the news section when I was updating my launcher for EA, not my fault you don't try to keep up with information given though...

I started the thread on the beta forums :x I'm glad to see that they responded to it, i was fine with my error personally but i see some others are more adamant about that change. Since their actually going to let "some" of us remake, how will they know who had the issue or will they just see that some people still have the same 1.0 presets?

This is good to hear as my game crashed when I was entering my Characters new nameand when I logged back in it had saved and reverted to my 1.0 name. And I would like to still change the name Thankfully my appearance data changed to what I want before crash.
