I don't think you'll have much luck getting an answer since the game's not even playable, but I'd assume a couerl in coerthas?

During the beta, the only way to get it was through exchanging Allagan tokens (which you would get exchanging gear with cracked materia in them) to Rowena. In 1.0, they were originally obtained by buying them from the Hamlet NPCs. For now I'm assuming they'll open up those again and you'l obtain them through Hamlet, either by an NPC there like 1.0 or by doing Hamlet itself.

I hope they'll be available through Hamlet because the exchange rate for them with allagan tokens of 100 tokens for 1 potash was disheartening.

Couerls i believe were in Limsa area, cant remember exact location.

Check Rowena in Coerthas. She sells you crafting materials such as potash and coke in exchange for tomestones (currency received for trading in cracked materia).

Just got my Armorer gear to get 349 craftmanship before food WOOT.

Too bad It will take like 4+ weeks of spamming dungeons that give the alagan thingies to get enough coke to make ONE darksteel ingot.

I seriously hope they provide an alternative method to obtain these materials. Dungeon spamming for tomes is pointless since the dungeons drop BETTER gear than the crafted stuff.
