Thread: 1.0 question

I will keep this short, I was a 1.0 player though not legacy and i want to play in the early access. So if i go and buy my wife's pc copy could i use her early access code on my account but she could install it on her pc sometime next week. I have looked on the internet and seem conflicting stories wanted to know if anyone here has done this or found out it could not be done.

Well I used an early access code on my version 1 account non legacy. It gave me a 20 digit code after putting in my 6/3/6/3 code. It asked me to attach it to an account. I think it attached it to my account but there is no way to confirm that it did. They said they would email me they never did.

so you should be able to attach the EA code to your main account
and your wife can just install the game and get a separate account

were a lot of mistakes are being made is 1.0 ppl buying the PC CE to attach to there 1.0 accounts which isnt posible you cant attach 2 pc codes to one SE account
if you want the physical CE attacht to your 1.0 account you need to the PS3 version which can be be linkt to your 1.0

Huh? I though CD came with a code to make 1.0 non-CE being CE (i recall seeing somewhere that we could upgrade our 1.0 non-ce accounts into CE accounts).
I wanna order the CE for all the stuff they give (the phisical items and ingame items) but if i cant attach the codes to my char, i wont buy it.

That would be the digital upgrade that's not yet available.

If you wanted the CE, you'd have to buy the PS3 CE and link your PSN with your SE account.

I do not own a PS3, so its kinda a waste (and its much more expensive).
All i wanted was the in-game items and the phisical items... But if it wont work the way it should, then i wont order it.

Maybe if you know someone with a PS3?
You can use your friends PS3, create new user account with a PSN account on the PS3, register your PS3 CE to your FF XIV account, delete the FF XIV client and user account from the PS3 and give the PS3 back to your friend.

Yep that will work without a problem. EA codes are not tied to a product key.

Yeah, I don't see why not. But, SE customer service might have a better answer than random websites.
