    Pre order code region

    I was under the impression my Square Enix account was a NA account, and after buying the game from your store and trying to register, I am receiving a region compatibility error. I have checked my account on the Square Enix account management page, and it's showing my account as "European other".
    I created a support ticket a while ago now, and I have yet to receive a response. Can someone please let me know what can be done to resolve this issue, I am an ex 1.0 player, and I only pre ordered again so that I could get early access!

    You, me, and a whole lot of people are having problems with this.

    I personally sent a support ticket following the steps here:

    You've probably done the same. Let's all hope region problems will get resolved smoothly!

    The NA support center is closed right now I think. It's ~3am there now. In a few hours, I guess our support tickets will start to get replies! Good luck to us!

    I'm having the same problem and none of the steps anyone has posted has helped me. I also have a ticket in and am just waiting on any information.

    On a side note I finally got the emails overnight, unfortunately with the EU code from their EU email.

    I also received a 20 character EU code. I received it as part of the online registration process. I have received an email with the same EU code from their EU email. I have had an NA FFXIV account since v1.0 beta. I have sent two emails regarding this to support and have heard nothing. I purchased the v2.0 Collectors Edition even though I have a v1.0 CE and legacy status. If this is not resolved soon, I will be very disappointed.

    Same issue here. Preordered NA, getting EU code.

    I sent a support email yesterday, and the response back was that the issue is resolved. So, I tried again, nope. Still getting an EU code.

    Getting really frustrated with this.

    Same here. I tried all the tricks in the beta forums, different browsers, making sure it was targeting NA members site, going into my profile and making sure language was set to eng(US), a different pc. Every time the exact same EU code. Tried again this morning, same thing. Put in a support ticket last night, hopefully get an answer other than we thought it was fixed.

    I am also having issues with this. The playstation network code they sent me doesn't work. And none of the fixes I've seen anyone post have worked.

    Ah, dealing with the same issue here.
    Never got past error 3 on the website, but got an email from Square with a code. EU code, of course.
    Considering how many of us seem to be hit by this, they should consider just going region-free. It's not like we don't share servers already. Not sure what difference it would make?

    I'm having similar problems. Entered my NA preorder code on Tuesday, got an EU code in the mail that evening. Figured it was fine since people on numerous forums are reporting that they could reenter their NA code again and get a new 20 digit NA access code. Waited, tried on Wednesday and started getting Error 2, which is that the code has already been used. Waited, did all the profile adjustment stuff, still Error 2.

    Went through the live chat support, and was essentially told to wait and see what they do to fix it. It is probably worth it to try to get through to support though, they'll take your preorder code, where you preordered from, and your EU access code down then escalate your ticket. It might not amount to anything, but it might be something you'll end up having to do down the road.
