No it is not. After early access you need an official product key or you can't play.
So I am assuming you don't have access to the ps3 version? I guess that makes sense because how can they give you access to a client you are not supposed to have (I know you have it from beta but I assume they are thinking in general. If someone without the ps3 client asks for a pc code, why would they give that person access to the ps3 version if he has no ability to get access to the ps3 client.)
Also no you still get your items. The moment you put the pc early access, the preorder items got bound to your service account.

Thanks!
Hey I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but if I took part in the open beta the previous weekend, do I need to download a new launcher, or is the previous one still good?
Sorry guys, simple question:
If I bought two early access codes for both my ps3 and pc, I won't be limited to either or, correct? I already registered both codes, but I won't be able to update until tonight. Thanks in advance!
Hi Guys,
I'm having a similar issue with my wife's account. She is a Legacy player(original CE), who played 1.0 B3 and B4. when we launch the client, it says "No valid or active service account..." We have checked her account on SE management page and everything looks fine. Is there a work around for this? I thought all a Legacy user had to do was "login".
This is my question, too.
Legacy account, have P4 client on PC and PS3. Preorderd PS3 CE from Amazon in May. Applied p-o code to PC. Able to update PC but PS3 says no valid service account. I've linked my PSN in P3 andi thought again in P4. Did it unlink after P4? Do I now have to wait for the my physical box and Mog Station to open to add myPS3 reg code to update PS3?
Did I screw up? I play onPC but i thought since the code was from ps3 I would have access on both.
Update: Just bought the PS3 Collectors Edition, registered the early access code I got by email and I was able to patch the PS3 version too. So now I can use both platforms.I'm a Legacy Member and I was able to patch up the game well on my PC but on PS3 I get an error when use my Legacy Account. PS3 says: No valid or active service account is available to play FFXIV: A Realm Reborn.
So means I need to buy the PS3 Version to be able to play on both platforms?
Hmm when I registered my PS3 Collectors from Amazon I clicked on PS3 in the website. Then when using SE account in the PS3 ARR Client I check to add my PS3 code and items to ARR 1.0.This is my question, too.

I have PS3 early access and my wife has PC early access. Neither of us is 1.0.
I know that I will only be able to play my character on PS3 for EA. However, when full release hits, will I be able to play my character on the PC? We will have 2 separate copies of the CE of the game. 1 is PS3, the other PC. Is my service account platform locked? Just curious. I'd love to play on the laptop without having to purchase a digital PC license since we already shelled out for 2 copies...
I wasn't going to go through all these post. It appears people are a bit confused about their EA. When you REGISTERED your code with SE, It asked you WHICH platform do you want to apply the EA to.
Right below it, there was TWO tab boxes, one for PS3 and one for PC. Prior to CLICKING NEXT, you had to chose which platform.
