I really dont see why they separated the version(other that forcing you to buy the same game twice)since you cant even play on both at same time
My account is an old Version 1.0 account that I registered in June 2011. I've been playing beta and as I had the old game, I don't have to buy another. So do I get access to early access, or not? It now says I have no valid account, but when I go into account details, the status of my account is registered. I dont think I get early access, but can I play on Monday? Is there anything I have to do?

There are two ways to gain Early Access:My account is an old Version 1.0 account that I registered in June 2011. I've been playing beta and as I had the old game, I don't have to buy another. So do I get access to early access, or not? It now says I have no valid account, but when I go into account details, the status of my account is registered. 1) Legacy status 1.0 account
2) Obtaining a pre-order code by either purchasing a PS3 Digital Download, PS3 Standard Edition, or PS3 Collector's Edition. You would then need to link your PS3's SEN account to your existing non-Legacy 1.0 account.
If you'd rather not spend the extra money to gain EA, then you'd have to simply wait till official launch on Tuesday, August 27th.

Woot cant wait to start smashing things with my axe tomorrow ^_^

Still can't get my PC client to update. PS3 client all downloaded and ready to go. SE Members account and PSN account linked. Not sure why it keeps telling me to wait until Mog Station is up
And yes, it's linked to the right account. Only have the 1.0 CE that Account management shows being registered on 09/11/2010.

this is the exact problem im having. though question how do you link "SE Members account and PSN account" do i have to wait for the ps3 client to download onto the ps3 and do it from there ?
can any1 help with issue
im a ff14 1.0 se player non legacy i played in phase 4 n had 0 issues.
decided 2 buy the ps3 copy of the game 4 early access.
ps3 client is currently downloading
however i am unable 2 update my pc phase 4 client n get the message (no valid or active service account is available)
i thought early access on my account would allow me 2 play on pc as well as ps3 as i own both copies of the game.(pc is the 1.0 copy)
so i check my account info on the square enix website n on my profile page it only has the ps3 game registered ( final fantasy 14 ps3 registered 24/08/2013)
no mention of early access at all is that what its supposed to look like ?
logged in2 square enix account management n check my currently registered products n it only has ff14 1.0 registered in 2011 no mention of ps3 copy i just registered today n again no early access info.
both accounts have the exact same log in details, they are the same account.
im really confused any help ?

When I linked my PS3's SEN account to my existing 1.0 SE account, I had already fully downloaded and updated the PS3 client before hand. I think that you need to update your PS3's client first, then link it to your 1.0 SE account, giving it EA. See my earlier post: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post1035624im a ff14 1.0 se player non legacy i played in phase 4 n had 0 issues.

thank you weks , you have cleared up alot here. When I linked my PS3's SEN account to my existing 1.0 SE account, I had already fully downloaded and updated the PS3 client before hand. just double checking
1, i wait till my ps3 downloads the whole client
2, on my pc i log into the square enix website ( the square enix webiste ? or the square account management one ? as they seem seperate)
3, i log into the ps3 client and link it with the account my pc ff14 1.0 version is on.
4, i now have early access on pc aswell and will be able to update the pc phase 4 client to the full game version.
is this correct ?
